The award winning Reflective Garden is the brainchild of Fr John Casey,
a former parish priest of St Peter the Fisherman's Church at Laurieton.
While on holiday in Italy, Fr Casey, an amateur sculptor and painter,
took rubbings and latex moulds of religious, historical and interesting
artifacts, statues etc. Inspired by what he had seen, he began work
in 1995 and since then the garden, with the help of volunteers, has
became a major tourist attraction, and gets hundreds of visitors each
year. With its unique blend of statues, water features, ornaments,
and native and exotic plants makes the garden a must-see feature for
visitors and locals.
